JAMES C. BINNICKER, CASP
PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER 
AIR FORCE ENLISTED VILLAGE, INC. 

   James C. Binnicker is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Air Force Enlisted Village, Inc. He has served in this position since March 2000. His close association with the AFEV led to his being selected as a member of the Board of Directors in 1992. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing the operations of Teresa Village, Bob Hope Village, and Hawthorn House. Hawthorn House, a 64-apartment assisted living residence which opened in 2005, represents an expansion of the AFEV’s mission, which prior to 2005 included only independent living apartments. 
   Binnicker ensures a meaningful quality of life for more than 500 residents of these facilities by encouraging independence, maximizing strengths and capabilities and providing them with a loving, secure environment.
   Prior to being selected to his current position, Binnicker was a senior vice-president of a major insurance company, serving in Heidelberg, Germany; Atlanta, Ga. and San Antonio, Texas . Before that he served 33 years in the United States Air Force. During his career, he served in many locations that spanned the globe. His three decades of service culminated in his selection as the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force where he served as the advisor to the Secretary of the Air Force/Air Force Chief of Staff. His military decorations and awards include the Distinguished Service Medal; Legion of Merit; Bronze Star Medal; Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters; Joint Service Commendation Medal; Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster; Vietnam Service Medal with three service stars; Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
   Jim Binnicker continues to travel worldwide as a guest speaker for the United States Air Force.

JENNIFER S. CARRON
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT
AIR FORCE ENLISTED VILLAGE, INC. 

  Jennifer Carron is the Director of Finance and Development for the Air Force Enlisted Village, Inc. Prior to taking this position she was the Administrator of the Hawthorn House and also served as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO, Air Force Enlisted Village, Inc.
  Ms. Carron graduated from High School in Gilbertville, Iowa. After graduation she joined the Air Force, where she earned an Associate's Degree in General Education as well as an Associate's degree in Logistics Management. She holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Resource Management from Troy State University, and a Master's of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas. In 2007, she earned her Assisted Living Facility Administrators Certification. She also earned a Certification in Healthcare and Safety from the University of Arkansas.
  Ms. Carron entered the Air Force in 1995 and served honorably for more than 10 years. While in the Air Force, she was stationed at Scott AFB, San Vito, Italy, Anderson Air Base, Pope AFB, and Seymour Johnson AFB. She finished up her military career with a tour to Southern Iraq. While in Iraq, Ms. Carron received several awards for developing numerous programs to include VCF, PMEL, quarterly inspections, central and supply ordering. Among her decorations are the Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Air Force Achievement Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Joint Meritorious Unit Award and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with four oak leaf clusters
  Following her Air Force career, Ms. Carron did a short stint with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a work study in the Hurlburt Field Family Support Center where she helped departing military members and spouses transition to civilian life.

OPAL TIBBITTS
DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS
AIR FORCE ENLISTED VILLAGE, INC. 

     Ms. Tibbitts is the Director of Admissions for the Air Force Enlisted Village, Inc.  Her responsibilities in this position cover all phases of admission to Bob Hope and Teresa Villages.  Ms. Tibbitts is responsible for maintaining a viable occupancy rate.  She accomplishes this through the management of the waiting list for widows and couples ensuring its timeliness and accuracy.  All aspects of the admissions process is handled by her office.  Also under Ms. Tibbitts supervision is the subsidy program for indigent widows.  She uses the utmost care to maintain the privacy and dignity of subsidy recipients.
    Ms. Tibbitts has been dedicated to the mission of the Air Force Enlisted Village for over eighteen years.  Prior to her tenure with the AFEV, she was employed by Westwood Retirement Community.  She has over twenty-three years total in the retirement living and long-term care industry.

ANGELA GUIMOND

Administrator of Hawthorn House

Air Force Enlisted Village

  Angela Guimond is the Administrator of the Hawthorn House. She is responsible for the operations and care of the residents and staff of the 64-apartment Assisted Living Residence.
  Mrs. Guimond earned her Assisted Living Facility Administrators Certification in 2009 through the Florida Assisted Living Affiliation and St. Petersburg College. She has worked in many capacities at the Hawthorn House since 2005 to include Admissions Coordinator, Certified Nursing Assistant and Resident Assistant.
  Mrs. Guimond has an Associate of Science Degree in Office Systems Technology from Okaloosa Walton Community College and an Associate of Arts Degree in Education from Northwest Florida State College. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa.
