The best routes for the motorist unfamiliar with the area:

1. From Panama City: Take Hwy. 98 West to Fort Walton Beach. Turn right on Eglin Parkway (Hwy. 85) and proceed through Fort Walton Beach and Shalimar and toward Eglin AFB. After the last traffic light in Shalimar, proceed 8/10 of a mile in the left lane and turn left on Sunset Lane. Proceed through the 4-way stop sign and go another ½ mile to the Bob Hope Village Entrance on the left.

2. From Pensacola: Take Hwy 98 East to Mary Esther. Take a left on Mary Esther Cutoff and proceed 1.9 miles to Beal Parkway (Hwy 189 North) and turn left. Proceed on Beal Parkway 6.3 miles toward Eglin AFB. Turn right on Poquito Road (University of Florida Graduate and Engineering Research Center is on the corner). At the 4-way stop turn right. Go another ½ mile to the Bob Hope Village Entrance on the left.

3. From Interstate 10: At the Crestview/Niceville exit, take Hwy 85 South 12 miles to Hwy 123 and bear right. Proceed 5 miles to Hwy 85 South and turn right. Continue 1 mile to a traffic light. Continue through the light 9/10 of a mile as two lanes merge to one and take an immediate right on Sunset Lane. Proceed through the 4-way stop sign and go another ½ mile to the Bob Hope Village Entrance on the left.

4. From Niceville: Proceed to Highway 20 West through Niceville toward the Okaloosa Regional Airport. Highway 20 West changes to Hwy 85 South. Continue on Hwy 85 South past the Airport and through two traffic lights. After the second traffic light, two lanes merge to one. Take an immediate right on Sunset Lane. Proceed through the 4-way stop sign and go another ½ mile to the Bob Hope Village Entrance on the left.
